Out yesterday evening as the sun was setting over the Devon countryside; then a trip to a pub north of Exeter (interesting and more about this later); then a drive home under a starlit sky. No hood, no sidescreens

Oxwich bay yesterday with the 2 dogs. Very surprised at the lack of traffic across Gower....Mate told me todat that Mumbles/casaell area was a nightmare. Parked in Oxwich Bay hotel....free! Had a light lunch there outside on the lawn tremendous location with stunning view across the bay...bowl of chips kept the dogs happy! Not a cloud on the sky...dogs had a great time on the beach as less people there than I expected. Drove home past King Arthur Hotel....mid afternoon as we had to go to  jnr tea time.....it was chock-a-block there! From Oxwich we could see the Swansea Airport aerobatic team up....also a biplane doing some flying.

Yes, having to use the Plus 8 for shuttle service. Just back from dropping the wife's tin top off for service. Dropped my tin top off yesterday. Not back yet. No cars but Morgans left. Feels a bit odd . . .

A blast down the M40 as a passenger with Richard (Redmorgan) in his superb Plus 4 SS. Spent a rather pleasant day at Bicester Heritage for a MOG Mag photoshoot...I won't post any photos, you can wait for the article but I will say it featured a couple of rather nice cars! Fascinating place, we wandered in and out of hangars and had a good nose at most of the buildings and taken round a rather superb new workshop by the guy who runs the Bentley restoration workshop. I have to say that Richards SS goes like stink and sounds wonderful as it comes on cam

Went out today without sidescreens, the first time in Tarka.
All rather refined, there is no turbulence from the side round the end of the windscreen, some from the back, but not much. Up to 65/70 it is no more windy than with sidescreens...
Very different from Aldermog where the wind seemed to come round from the windscreen and catch the side of my head.
I think the side screens will stay off as long as it is warm!!

Coming home from work today, I was driving up the hill from the Air Balloon roundabout on the A417, and in the queue coming down the hill was what looked like an Aero Plus 8, in a sort of brick red colour. It had its roof up for some reason, but I waved anyway

Lovely drive in the sunshine, with a call into Berrybrook along the way. Enjoyable overtake of a newish Golf GTi, on the dual carriageway high speed 90 left from the A30 to the M5.
