Coo that was refreshing.

Nice when you slowdown and get that bubble of heat envelope you.

That's not good Jays. Some squat exercises to build up calf strength may help, have a look online at skiing exercise to prepare for ski season, pick ones for lower legs, also, they will help flexibility. Remember bones can take a while to fully mend, and ligament damage if you had any can take sometime. I'm sure it's a.short set back. cheers

Bonnet was secure prior to the start of the trip so don't know if it was wind pressure or the body had flexed allowing catch to undo - but will be fitting a bonnet belt as I jumped out of my skin.

Anybody else experienced the bonnet opening under speed.

Yes.... I made a post about this recently. Over a certain speed, a high speed, the bonnet on my Roadster started to lift - despite the latches being in place.

Sorry to hear about the ankle swelling.

I can relate to your feelings about Nero. Some time after our return from BHM (couple of months?) I hadn't driven the yellow car for a few weeks - commuting in Polo and 90. Going out to join the FriPie group I had real misgivings about the car (missing RTA I guess) - it just didn't feel right, in fact it didn't feel good. However, after a few miles I settled back in and all was well with the world.
My car has been fitted with a servo, I guess for the previous owner. Not sure whether there is enough room to do the same on a Roadster...
Good luck with extra physio. Be careful if you are doing extra walking! scared

When I had my first Morgan in the sixties the bonnet became unlatched and flew over my head. A woman in a Triumph Herald then proceded to drive over it squashing all the leuvers. A crying 18 year old is not a pretty sight. Needless to say I have a bonnet strap on the current Morgan.

Drove to work yesterday- really noticed the terrible state our roads are in. Started to get some lag in the lower revs- so I've dropped it in to RTCC to have a look. Hope they fix it soon - as it is great Morgan weather.

Jays- I've found that Hydrotherapy is the best - it's low impact - so allows you to work out whilst healing.

Sadly due to ongoing treatment for skin cancer, I am not allowed in a public swimming pool. Otherwise yes, that would be a good option and recommended by my NHS physio.
I'm going to talk to my physio again about appropriate strengthening exercises.
