If I start saving now, I've got a chance with the third choice. Gerry snail

There are some big ticket cars coming up, you guys must have deep pockets. To quote Seasick Steve : "I was born with nothing and I've still got most of it left" smile

The C Type in my case would be a Suffolk version!

A couple of years ago i opted out of the Morgan world, bought an Aston Martin Vantage , awesome car but soon realised it was just an "itch that needed scratching" so sold that and bought an immaculate Porsche 993 , black with black leather which was great fun and very usable as an everyday car, i took it on the track a couple of times which was impressive, now back to Morgan and i can't imagine having anything else, but never say never!

If I had the space, I would go for a boat-tailed pre-war sports; ideally with its exhaust running along the passenger side and an external handbrake. Austin 7 Special, MG, Riley, Amilcar - not fussed which.
But this Amilcar, seen at Prescott would be perfect

Series 3 Jaguar XJC 5.3. When I worked at BL training I used one for a week as I was commuting from Solihull to Leeds each day to run training (our first born was imminent so they allowed me home each night). Mind you I had no idea fuel could actually be used that quickly........;-) Glad BL was paying for it......

I love the big bangers and the Beast of Turin is my all time favourite big banger - an amazing machine.

All of the above are well beyond my reach but that doesn't stop you dreaming and looking forward to Goodwood Revival again in September.

Just for you Bud, Austin 7 based special (in line with yellow 4 seater). Might be a bit snug for both you and LLB. Gerry.
