I enjoyed my visit to the factory and the +4 for the afternoon.
swmbo didn't complain about comfort, which is a good sign.
I've decided I'll probably be more comfortable with the
power of the roadster and getting used to the the position
of the handbrake on hill starts would be helped with a bit more poke ( I stalled it twice at hill junctions )
But at the end of the day I asked to see the the sales team
for prices and options but they didn't have any ?
They just said they would refer me my nearest dealer.
Does anyone know where there is a current price/options list
that i could peruse, or are they all dependant on individual
dealer prices.

Ian - don't worry about the handbrake, it soon becomes like second nature. I've grown to prefer it to a normal one.

As for costs - MMC didn't give me a confirmed price on my car until I got the final invoice - few days before the build was completed.
Then it was £3k over what I expected but, happily, once I explained how I had calculated the figure I had been expecting the accounts dept. agreed and sent a modified bill.

You will definately get used to the fly off handbrake whatever the engine power
It does take a bit of time to get used to it - (more than an afternoon) and the biting point but once mastered, never forgotten

As to current price and options lists, I think from chatting to Dave at Lifes motors, there is a lot of frustration from dealers at the moment as they haven't been fully equipped with the new prices since Geneva
I think Morgan are busy working on them now but Morgan have stopped taking orders direct and all new car sales are now through their dealerships which makes a lot of sense but you would think they would be a bit quicker getting the info out to them

If I were looking to buy new, I would start to form a relationship with your nearest dealer and start a dialogue

Nearest is quite important as they would handle any warranty issues and you don't want to taking it further than you need to, plus having supplied the car in the first place there would be a better sense of responsibily

You never know, your dealer might already have a build slot for just the car you are looking for

VERY jealous envy sick John if it is for you - would also be my pick of the current trad range. GDi engine or a special with an old-spec Duratec so you have a bit more flexibility over an upgrade path?

You can't spec a Duratec engine sadly as I'd rather have that and the earlier dashboard to the current GDI engine.
I'm just looking at my options at the moment, just frustrating I can't cost a car up!
