The demo +8 I took out on a test drive from Phoenix Motors Woodbury in 1970 has a place in my heart.
Compared to my Ford Pop engined Series 2 it was dynamite.
The new +8 would also fit the bill.

I remember trying out a Yellow 4/4 at Phoenix Motors in 1979, liked the drive but it had bubbling steel wings and decided to pass and go for a +8.
Long before Berrybrook came along.

I found these pictures of Phoenix Motors in Woodbury; sadly long since demolished. However the village looks much the same.

I sold my 1968 MG Midget in 1969 to marry the first Mrs S............biggest mistake, should have kept the MG it gave me more pleasure AND would've lasted longer
