Classic instead of the XK-8 - DeTomaso Pantera - might as well have something undriveable in traffic.

But, the all time fave is still the Lambo Muira...

Good shout. A trifle more realistic than some of the flights of fancy being engaged in, too!

The demo +8 I took out on a test drive from Phoenix Motors Woodbury in 1970 has a place in my heart.
Compared to my Ford Pop engined Series 2 it was dynamite.
The new +8 would also fit the bill.

I remember trying out a Yellow 4/4 at Phoenix Motors in 1979, liked the drive but it had bubbling steel wings and decided to pass and go for a +8.
Long before Berrybrook came along.

I found these pictures of Phoenix Motors in Woodbury; sadly long since demolished. However the village looks much the same.

Yellow was more popular then, must be the 70's?

I passed up a yellow TVR 2500M to marry MrsW. (No Regrets).

I would have liked a Lotus Elan or Europa

TVR3000M

TR6

Marcos

Dolomite Sprint

Trident Clipper/Venturer (accompanied a lovely yellow one on a Silverstone Classic run).

Caterham

Of course - all of the above is still possible!

I sold my 1968 MG Midget in 1969 to marry the first Mrs S............biggest mistake, should have kept the MG it gave me more pleasure AND would've lasted longer ooo
