Thank you!! smile The actual hitching won't happen until next year, but that's the equivalent of the blink of an eye considering the time it took for cereal to ask laugh2

Hope you're feeling better. smile

We had about three years of 'injury time' first. I think I suggested getting married for tax reasons...

Speeding up now thanks. Have one taker for the Mog so far, for the next two weeks.

So, a Morgan themed wedding?!

A four seater would make a good wedding car. Mind you, so would an Aero - it would just need more trips.
I borrowed an XJ6 auto off a mate in the trade in 1978 for my wedding.
It cost me £3 (for the petrol), and I was late getting home to change because me and the groomsman went 'for a spin'.
Well, you would, wouldn't you. My daily driver (and honeymoon car)was a Midget 1500. woohoo

My daughter is fancying something 'flash' when she gets married. Maybe in two years time. Actually she has a thing about Dodge Vipers. Where did I go wrong? innocent

Perhaps seeing how little room they have at Prescott would help Dave?
Then again... wink

Good luck Paul.

Cheers,

Only just read about your misfortune. As one who suffered a blackout in the middle of Bedgebury Forest a year-or-so ago I can fully empathise with you. Hope you're now on the mend.
If you need the Mog taken for a spin, you know where to come! drive

Again, thanks to all. Wrist now in removable splint for about four more weeks (much better than the plaster), blood test booked in for Friday and 'signed off' re head - crack(s) will heal quite happily on their own. Doctor happy that I didn't fully black-out but rather felt dizzy and lost the ability to stand upright. Has put me on non-falling over pills as a temporary measure. Get measured for new glasses on Monday - that will help a lot, using very old ones at present.

One of our local muso friends has insured car for a couple of weeks, and took it off to Shropshire yesterday. By now he will either hate it, or be lost forever as another addict. Suspect getting keys back will be a 'cold dead hand' moment.

How about you Alan - was it a one-off, and did they find a cause? Rather worringly, two locals have had similar incidents - both on motorways.

Mine was a one-off. Never did find the cause. Fortunately my son broke my fall - doesn't sound like you were quite that fortunate. Most embarassing though having Sussex Ambulance Trust picking me up in the middle of the forest!
