Looks a nice example and I'd say the price is realistic: I bought a 2014 Plus 8 in October 2014 and the difference between list and the price I paid compares well to the difference between their asking price and list price.
If you are looking for a SS then it is worth investigating.
My view is that the Aeromax model suffers somewhat from speculator hype.

Looks cracking. If I had the necessary dosh, I could be seriously tempted.

That Coupe looks nice, no idea on whether this example is keenly priced. You may well be correct on overall Coupe production numbers being lower than the Aeromax but the numbers that matter most to a UK buyer are RHD UK-registered cars. You may find the Aeromax is more scarce on this basis, with around a dozen or so cars remaining registered in the UK. If you want an Auto, then you are talking about even fewer.

It's not Dogman Jack's old one is it ? Looks great. I've always been a bit bemused as to why the coupé was soooo much cheaper than the Aero SS as there can't be that much extra work to fit a leaky targa roof to it.

In terms of current pricing (order of value) Aeromax - original and arguably the most spectacular piece of "automative" art
Supersport - does 90% of the above but adds open air motoring - in keeping with Morgan's history
Coupe - does 90% of the Aeromax but doesn't add anything
Pricing reflects this - but also reflects the substantial premium of the SS over Coupe when new. Lawton's SS is 100k.

That is a top looking car! price looks decent for it too. I wonder if the price is influenced by the soon to be available new Aero? If you were in the Aero territory then similar cars could soon be on the market as owners move to the new car. Unless they want to keep the current version as a preferred choice. It will be interesting to see what develops. If I had the funds I'd be looking at that coupe.

Looks like it is. Silver SS wheels, twin side pipes and quilted saddle brown leather are the spec of John's (DMJ's) Aero Coupe. S
