Shame on you old boy you have forgotten the no1 whistle . The wolf whistle its now illegal . But mog owners can still use it as only they can hear it due to the engine noise and tell me what woman is not seduced my a mog .  see even he is doing the wolf whistle . A Morgan whistles when it's happy , no seriously DaveW is quite correct.

It might not be PC, and I don't think I have done it since I was a teenager, but it is interesting to see the reaction of a pretty girl who has been wolf whistled. She may put on a haughty or annoyed expression for a moment but she perks up, thrusts out her breasts, and walks on in a proud manner. Hard to define but I'm sure you all know what I mean. The girl who didn't get any wolf whistles was always jealous of those who did.

A couple of weeks ago a girl who was regularly wolf whistled at in Worcester, complained to the police about sexual harassment and the builders were given a formal warning!

Last summer we were at a show. A woman was passing and said... How beautiful... I asked Me or the car? She replied....BOTH.  Now, before aerotaff or Ray jump in....she was not visually impaired! Being of a sensitive nature i blushed...

Solved!!! Now the wife can ride in the car! I taped up everything I could think of on the front of the car and took it out for a drive. It looked horrible but fortunately it was early morning. The noise was gone. Ran it up to about 65 mph and it was quiet. I kept taking tape off until it appeared again. Turns out that the square badge bar has a slot in the bottom for mounting the badges and the opening was causing the whistle, The slot is about 1/4 inch wide and as long as the badge bar (about 2 feet). I'll have to figure out some way to cover it up or get a round badge bar. Sure made a wicked noise. Now if I could just figure out some way to modulate this I could have wolf whistle that no one could ever find! Thanks for all of your help. I'll be back I'm sure with something else.

If you want a round badge bar I have one that is surplus to needs. Never had a badge mounted on it, in fact I can't even remember if I ever fitted it to the car. I could bring it to Thrill on the Hill if you can wait until July. Say 50% of new price. PM me if you are interested.

I wouldn't mind that except I live in Virginia, USA. Near as I can figure it is about 4000 miles away. Thanks but I think I'll pass. Now that I know the problem it should be easy to fix and I'll be able to retain the bar that I have.
