Reports state that a Sturgeon has been sighted in the Thames.
It is thought to be headed towards Westminster area and reputed to be looking to eat the minnows that are known to congregate there.
It is being guided by a Scottish Salmon that has recently taken residence.
Measures are in place to deal with the Sturgeon....
A trail of Haggis scent is being tried to lure it away...
As is a rumour that there is a great deal of money waiting to be collected in Brussels, in the hope that it will be diverted.
People are trying to frighten it away by standing on the banks and singing the ditty....
"A virgin sturgeon needs no urgin, that's why caviar is my dish"
Experts think this is a waste of time as the description doesn't fit.
Anyone sighting the sturgeon is advised to avoid all contact and cover their ears to prevent hearing the war cry of the sturgeon.
