Coincidentally I caught the near side rear of my Caterham wheel whilst enthusiastically tackling zigzag hill, near Compton Abbas airfield, near Shaftesbury last weekend, so will be following your repairs with interest Peter. Luckily mine is black, so I shouldn't have too much trouble matching. Best of luck with the repair. Going downhill by any chance?

Just need a bit of tyre shine on those wheels ! Just wait and see... As soon as the AloyGaters are fitted the side-walls will be black and shiny. Photo to follow. I'm told that fish oil works very well for this, but tends to attract cats. So I think I'll use Auto-Glym Do you think this might be going too far? Pencil Or not....?
