Yep I love small cars too. I loved my Midget. Would love a Frog Eye & thought the Smart sports car was great but bought a 4/4.
Which is odd as I am a fully paid up member of "Flying Pig Squadron" following the bacon butty & beer diet. So I tend to fill the space & reduce the bhp/ton.
My wife had in Holland (when we lived there in the 80s & 90s) a Subaru mini jumbo. A 5 seat hatch back driven by a three cylinder 650 cc 4 stroke engine. Generally the speed limit was 50 or 100 kph so it was a player in the boy racer games. Boy could that thing move if you played go carts & stressed it to hell & back.
At the time I had a 750cc T140V Bonnie and the a MG MkII Le Mans at 850cc. So the bikes were bigger, but that Subaru was often more fun.
Later on I worked as a consultant in Belgium and we as a team of 3 all usually got the then new SMART 2 seater. We raced them through Waterloo & like M3Ws you can get them on 2 wheels at roundabouts. Happy days.
