Well doesn't really compare to Le Mans and back but took the Mog to the tennis club tonight as it was a beautiful clear night

Lovely 7 mile drive through leafy lanes, wind in the hair and a glorious soundtrack provided by the soul of the wonderful Terry Callier

After tennis a chap from the club introduced himself as a professional photographer who wanted to use the car in a few shots. He said he mainly does landscapes but he was so taken with the red a Morgan (which was looking particularly shiny tonight) he had in mind a few local locations where the red car would provide a perfect focus and contrast to the surroundings

Anyway, Ive checked his website and it looks fantastic so I'll see if we can get together

Nice trip into Dartmouth and saw the metallic grey narrow body parked up in Weeke Hill L4WSR. Passed a Baby Blue frogeye sprite and a Willys Jeep with male and female occupants in full US army regalia and waving like mad, a great sight to see. I am lucky I only went 10mls.

Went to Desenzano on Lake Garda to meet amd English childhood friend of Alis that she has not seen for 46 years. They managed to find each other recently on the internet. Quite an emotional meeting.

We had an excellent light lunch next to the old inner port of Desenzano. A round trip of about 300 km: autostrada on the way and ordinary roads (much more enjoyable) on the way back. Top down all the way and we managed to avoid a couple of showers, well all except a couple of drops.

It's never too early but in my case it was last year at 63.
I guess it all depends on the old adage are you living to work or working to live.

One member of TM retired at 40 and thought it was probably too young.
