You are more welcome in Iran with an Aussie Passport than I am with a UK one...There is quite a bit of Aussie and New Zealand scientific contact with Iran.

I've an American friend who works for the US Government Seismology Dept and has worked in Iran for a number of years. He loves the country enough to take his wife there earlier this year for a holiday.
