The complete opposite end of the auto market Just another aspect of it that's all. The one thing Charles is good at is as an embassador and I'm sure he'll do well.

Feel sorry for him - bit of a comedown from being the boss in your eponymous (?) car company to being a rep selling a security system and working for someone else. Its a fair old adjustment to make - I once hired someone from a similar albeit less patrician background and he found it difficult to be a subordinate and the loss of status to be hard.

Yes certainly wish him well It looks like a very role that that can be done without conflict with other potential work within the automotive industry if he gets involved with a manufacturer Being a non exec director of what looks like a new company is probably more a long term small investment opportunity rather than a paid role
