Did I mention the 2 large boxes of clothes, helmets and knick-knacks that arrived from the Morgan Shop on Monday, or the luggage rack coming from Morgan Park Hamburg (don't ask why, I just prefer it), or the regular bits and pieces that have been turning up from eBay etc over the last few weeks? If the car doesn't arrive soon I'm going to need a bigger house blush

I'll see how it looks when the car arrives but I'm very mindful about affecting warranty.

Hi Phillip, have you got an eta yet?

Looks like a good, if cold, H3nri motoring weekend. Hope to cruise the cafe scene if the wife hasn't got too long a list of chores!

Hi Nigel, No eta. Gavin has only ever emailed me 4 times, 2 about money and 2 giving me bad news. He did tell me in an email over 2 weeks ago that the car was finished and he had arranged for it to be picked up and shipped and would tell me when. That was the last I have heard from him although I did hear from someone else that he left for the UK last weekend for 5 weeks. No word from him though. I haven't even seen a photo of it completed even though I paid for the car in full even before it was built.

I have to say ordering a new Morgan has been one of the most depressing experiences of my life.

I've been resisting the urge to get in touch because I want to come over in my car!

Hi Phillip,

It might be worth an email to the factory to see if they have and info on the export dates.

"I have to say ordering a new Morgan has been one of the most depressing experiences of my life."

That is so sad to read Philip, this whole experience should be good and positive, irrespective of the car you get in the end, which I hope and trust will be even better than you had hoped for.

It may be worth sending Steve Morris, the MD, a letter detailing your experience and gripes, as I'm sure he wouldn't want the ordering experience to be so bad. In fact I'm sure he will be quite concerned by it.
