Steve,
I'd strongly recommend you don't use Autoglass to do your screen. They made a real hash of mine, broke the sun visor studs and left many of the switches skewed after taking off the dashboard. It took me longer to repair the mess they had made than to doing it myself. Your main dealer should be able to replace your screen and your insurance company should be happy to pay for it. It will probably be the first time the Autoglas engineer has ever worked on a Morgan and it's a very different job to a modern design car.

No option this is an insurance claim! Adrian Flux insurance use Autoglass. MELVIN RUTTER could Not supply as it's an Allon and White screen.

Ben There is no need to remove the dashboard as all! 4 set screws, loosen one side of the screen support and lift screen and frame out. That's how it was done as I helped the Autoglass guy do it !

Your Insurer cannot force you to use AutoGlass, but they may only agree to pay what AutoGlass would charge them. I have had this with my BMW: It has a "head up" display, which requires a special BMW Screen. Autoglass, after a lot of evasion and waffle, admitted they couldn't supply such a screen. I then had a big arguement with the insurer as the BMW Head Up display screen is 2X the price of an Autoglass one. Eventually they paid. I now make a point of asking brokers if they will allow the manufacturer's dealer to fit a manufacturer supplied screen. Most will, if pushed but normally the excess on the screen goes up to £150 or £200. cevat emptor and so on...
