More dealers should take a risk on colours. BHM push the boat out but it's unusual to see bright colours elsewhere.
MrsW admits to liking Ivory with red interior though......
That's letting the side down. grin2

They have listed it on Ebay and have called it the 4/4 'Speedster'

It does come with a tonneau cover and has a Moto lita wheel
so the extra overs to the sub £30K version are:

black wire wheels instead of silver
black grill instead of silver
Leather instead of Ambla
Moto Lita wheel
tonneau cover

Dear All,

An interesting mix of comments and all appreciated. It would be very dull if we all liked the same thing.

Yes, it is a stock car we have ordered and the bright colour was to make a statement and try and attract some interest from both existing Morgan owners and potential new customers who have not prevously considered Morgan.

In relation to the boot mark, I can only assume this was done by the photographer when photographing the car and I am sorry we did not notice it at that stage. Anyone who knows me and my team would know that we really "can" be bothered to clean the cars properly. I thought that comment was a little harsh!

The retail price of the Speedster, just like all New Morgan prices, does not include on the road charges. The price on our website includes this and the limited number of extras we have optioned in. Unfortunately, once OTR costs are added, the price is already somewhere over £30000 on a completely standard car. We therefore decided that, once the £30K barrier was broken, options made little difference to the price bracket within which it fell but added some real benefit from an appeal perspective.

Guess we can only do our best, but it is always with the best of intention to further the brand we all love so much.

I still love that colour, but having a car without a roof and only three wheels I think I'd have to go with the roof option, but that colour.. Mmmm.

I think it looks great.

I'm not a fan of chrome bits, walnut etc. (unless the car is actually a classic).

That's why I bought a stripped back car with black wheels, no overriders/bumpers, clear lenses, no piping on seats ... from Oakmere.

There's room for a modern twist on these cars, but don't go too far, *cough* AR-P4 ...

Looking for another Morgan!
