Saw planenut there - nice to see another TMer and put a face to the name. Morgan's were very scarce from the spectators - only saw two other 4 wheelers - must be rain shy!

Run out to Sowerby Hall (near Brid) with Yorkshire and Linmog, excellent weather, good roads and good company (42 cars), rained 10 minutes after getting home, Perfect!!

Not driven today in the Welsh monsoon but ready for mot tomorrow! Mot pass cost one sidelight bulb (£1) and an advisory on front nearside kingpin (lower). Strange as all front suspension replaced July 2013 which was 6000miles ago ! How long should a well greased front suspension last ? 6000miles seems a bit quick too get play in the sliding pillar !

Stevemag.I think perhaps some mot testers are not quite used to the morgan suspension set up, on my first mot he said that there was a lot of grease at the bottom of the suspension.Better get it checked out but i bet everything is fine at 6k
and well looked after.

Stevemag, I had the same at my MOT two weeks ago. The car has only done 14000 well greased miles. I did hope to get 20000 miles out of them.
Even though it is only an advisory, I have taken the option to get new hard chrome kingpins fitted towards the end of September, rather than hope to scrape through the MOT next year.
If you are concerned, due to the relative low mileage, stuff more grease into the king pins and ask a Morgan dealer for their opinion.

Had an advisory on near side bushes last year. This year filled with ordinary grease the day before MOT, no problem. Same MOT station and tester.
.+8 Now gone for a 1800 4/4. Duratec in bright yellow.

Changed the tube of grease in the grease gun yesterday. What a messy and yes, greasy job!

first time for weeks nice drive up loch Lomond in the dark roof down. 80 miles in total now the car looks like its been shot blasted with insects.
Very much in the dog house, could be up for rehoming
