just used a standard Viton + teflon O ring (> 150°C) that fits the cap.
10 euro cents.

I put a new factory seal in last week.

Checked after about 100 miles and it was domed.

The original did 5,000 miles before splitting so will keep an eye on this one

What sort of bird plays with leather washers?

Also the new official gasket was a very tight fit which is why I think it domes. I didn't measure it but believe it to be 2" / 50mm.so the 2 1/4 washer wouldn't fit.

Neat idea though
