The Zetec-E blacktop was used by Ford in the Ford Focus 1998 to 2004.
Halfords should have the relevant manual, or can order one for you.

Haynes do a manual no 4167 which covers Oct 2001 to 2005, 51 to 05 reg. Covers 1.4 (1388cc) 1.6 (1596cc) 1.8 (1796cc) and 2 ltr (1989cc).It covers most of the engine details I need on my 2004 1.8 black top.

Any idea of what would be a good approximation for a 1975 Plus 8?
Rover? Or is there something with greater commonality?

A Haynes manual for a Rover 3500 1968 - June 1976. The engine, carburettor, ignition and gearbox sections are needed; the wiring diagram is useful as many of the principles apply to the Plus 8.
The wiring diagram is contained in the Morgan Plus 8 owners handbook for the relevant period produced by the factory.

Yes, but isn't GoMog only available online? Not always convenient.
