ZORRA and water

Yesyes , today ZORRA was dropped in the water after 20 years "bricolage" .. blush
Everything water thigt , so was the care in the building... i'm proud ! Now mast/rigging and he will become a sailboat !!!!!

long stressy day.. now the more happy. Estimated working hours is 10.000 .... up to the last detail , everything is custom made. Crazy grin2

all went perfect , except for the cold rain showers.. O well, it' s Belgium.. for another month laugh

South France, here we come !

o, the ones worying about the bulbous bow, the boat still has to "rotate" a bit ... due the mast ( 700 kg ) and the anchors/chains still to be winched aboard. Goal is that the bow is just beneed the water level.

It will be a just + 30 tons sailboat... laugh

Interesting design.....can you explain the structure above the stern? It looks quite fascinating!

Great effort! Congratulations.
Aluminum or steel?
Who designed the boat? Unusual to have a bulb at the bow unless doing 15+ knots.
Do you have a huge engine?
