Never seen a Mulfab steering bearing with a grease nipple fitted, not to say it can't be done but not much material to threaded? Whenever I fit a set I drill the stub axle after first marking the bearing race height from Peters bearings and allow grease to bleed through from the inside of the bearing. In fact the MMC started adding these bleed holes shortly after fitting their version of the bearing, initially one hole, then two and latest cars have three bleed holes. A very simple job to do even with a hand drill but of course a drill press makes it simple, I have even drilled stubs for a few guys on here ;-).

Thanks everyone. Given that my one-shot has already been removed I like the idea of using EP 140. Not sure if that will work in my grease gun but worth a try, although I may end up arse to elbows in gear lube before I'm done.

The EP140 will work in your grease gun especially if it's of decent quality such as a Wanner (Swiss).
When pumping in the oil, you will feel the gun 'hydraulic', i.e. go solid. That's the point to stop pumping as all that will be achieved will be to pump out the grease from the stub axle.
Have fun!

Just to amplify your mental image Mrs. Bloggins is insisting that I do this job naked, in order to ease her laundry burden. She's joking. . . I think.
