In the mean while, I've been perusing the configurator and had a couple of questions to those that are on the other side of the decision: 1) Is it possible to get the lovely front fenders body coloured? Am I the only one who asks this? 2) Is it possible to get the chrome plated wired wheels with the equally lovely three eared spinners? and lastly, is the 3 available in metallics? Morgan has always made a luscious royal/navy blue metallic as well as a mid grey/anthracite metallic, I'm assuming they're available but at extra cost?
1) Yes, but not by the factory - I had to get them done at the dealer. 2).Yes, but not by the factory - I had to buy them and retro fit. 3) Yes, factory will paint any colour you like - at a price.
The fenders come to the factory painted black which is why I think there is a lack of options out of the box. This however being Morgan, anything is possible depending on the depth of your pocketbook.
The company who makes the wire wheels have a couple different options for rims, so chances are this can easily be swapped out. Either by you, or I am sure by the factory. http://shop.mwsint.com/product_details.asp?id=63
Morgans have "standard colors" for body paint and leather, but you can also get it painted in any color of your choosing off a color wheel or from preexisting paint.
In some ways, I do feel you may be better off ordering something standard from the factory and editing such cosmetic changes on your own or at a local paint shop.
