Interesting feedback David, especially the change in weight across the front axle.

I of course have commercial interest in this product as I designed the SUPLEX 5L rear suspension system with help from SUPLEX UK Ltd.
Williams Automobiles will start fitting their production 5L set this coming week on a +4, which will then be available for demo. Maybe on the road the week after as Lawrie and pals need to make sure their race car is ready for this year's final race at Snetterton next weekend. Their 4/4 race car is still the best cornering car on the circuit, love it when Henry sits on the tail of the works ARV6 through the twisty bits, like at Donnington this weekend!
I am about to start tuning some nonadjustable Bilstein monotube dampers for the 5L rear to match the RS fronts, and Quantum are making some adjustable monotube front dampers to match those setup on the rear. The work I did on the Quantums for the Williams race car has been very beneficial for both projects!
I will soon get a production 5L set on my old narrow chassis 4/4 to replace the 'man in a shed' prototype set which has held up well for 18 months. Regards PJB.

As I have to rebuild the suspension on my car I would like to fit the 5L conversion but will depend on a) cost and b)a DIY version being available.

Price about to be released. There is nothing that difficult to fit the system as it is all bolt-on, no new holes if the car has a damper hoop except may need holes for the Panhard cross member. Access is needed below the car ideally and care is needed to make sure the axle is true and the corner weights are OK. So DIY is not that difficult, but I am sure dealers selling the kit to a customer would want to be sure of the customer's abilities. Regards PJB

PJB,
That's good news. It's an 07 car, so I assume the damper hoop is OK? I've got to fit a panhard rod even if I stay with leaf springs. Yes I can understand that setup is important.
Cheers

Can you keep us all informed on the progress of the new suspension and let us know when it will be available and how much ?

OK folks -- who was at the Williams open day and drove the car with the Suplex rear suspension????

What report have you -- is the ride much better? Does it hold the road better? Does it make enough difference for you to " have" to have it???

Cheers!
