That means there will be NO MORGAN owners in the future, so MMC will finally go bust? And you two are to blame.

And me, we're also sprogless. No need to clutter up the world with even more copies of our genes.

Happy birthday Ray...

There's a lady around the corner (who complains about my Land Rover's emmissions) has produced 5 potential owners - I think that's covered things Ray...
I'm very fond of retorting that she has been far worse for the planet's future than my 90 will ever be smile

The one thing that always strikes me about climate change pontifications isnt the accuracy or otherwise ( my bet is that the scientists are right) but the way in which climate change only ever has bad effects.

And its the same in other areas such as development of land. The focus is always on the negative.

My guess is that climate change, providing it doesnt become runaway, will have as many plusses as negatives.

Given that the evidence points otherwise, I think your guessing might be more than slightly optimistic, Howard.

The downsides are lower agricultural output due to disrupted water supplies and disrupted weather patterns, greater death rates in children and the elderly due to much hotter summers, collapse of fish stocks due to oceanic warming and acidification, loss of human habitat due to sea level rise, loss of fresh water supplies on which 1/6 of the world's population depends due to glacial melt, and massive acceleration of the greenhouse effect when the tundra melts and the clathrates release all the methane.

On the other hand, the winters won't be so cold, so they won't need to salt the roads so much. So it's not all bad...
