Surely the doors are made of aluminium.

Contact Steve at VSM, I'm sure he could tell you.

Morgans have always had nasty cheap car horns fitted! smile

Mine is under the front cowl box, but I don't think it matters where they go, so long as they aren't where too much road dirt and wet can get to it.

Hi Martin, recent Morgans have been fitted with plastic horns, in front of the radiator.
To see the horns go onto Holden Vintage and Classic car parts, they are part numbers 080.468 and 080.469, on low note the other high note.

I hope that helps.

My Lucas data sheets tell me that a Lucas 9H horn was fitted to a 1969 4/4, I'm sure Google images will provide the necessary pictures!

Mounting, my 1972 4/4 has it under the cowl box and my 1968 Plus 4 has one on the bulkhead!!

Door skins: the old steel ones measures out at 0.036 or 20 SWG

Not sure what the ally equivalent is, slightly thicker I suspect

Cheers

Arwyn

The 4/4 comes with one horn but wired for two. I picked up a pair of new Lucas horns off E-Bay.

Thanks for your help, 20 SWG looks right. The nasty horn is on the bulk head so I guess that's the right position.
