...sat on another Emirates flight and reading the October edition of TopGear Magazine. It has a list of the 149 coolest cars. The M3W makes it in at number 64!



Other (to my mind) unexpected inclusions include the Lada Riva, Merc Unimog, Talbot Matra Rancho.

Not possible that there are 63 cars cooler than a M3W.

Nice to see the Muira and Land Rover quite close together...

Not that unusual Graham, one is normally towing the other and no the Muira does not make a good tow truck ;-).

I would drop most of the cars shown on that list. Where is my New Generation Hyundai i10 Sports. It might not be in the same league as the super cars, but it was voted City Car of the Year for 2014/15. and I just love it! Can't afford a Morgan just yet!

I read that edition as well I think the +8 made it on the list somewhere as well.

You heard about the guy with a Miura who stopped to help an M3W that had broken down. They organised a bit of rope for a tow to the next town, about 5 miles. The guy with the Miura said that if he was going too fast for the guy with the M3W to blow his horn. All went well until the outskirts of the town when a Land Rover overtook them both. The Miura driver completely forgot about the M3W and took off after the Land Rover.

Cop on the phone to the next town; "You had better try and stop this lot! I've never seen anything like it. There's this Land Rover going flat out and being chased by a yellow sports car, but close behind there's this vintage 3 wheeler and he's honking his horn to get past!"
