Regards, your comments about the XE are very interesting for me right now. I had a longer test drive with the 240 hp version last week and I was very pleased. After several 3-series BMW's as company cars I'm getting a little bored and since I like the standard rear wheel drive, the Jag seems like a logical alternative. The Ford petrol engine though seemed a little weak for the German highways but that is maybe only my personal taste, liking stronger cars. I couldn't test the XES, has anyone done that? Legroom and head space at the rear seats are reasonably smaller than in the BMW, but I see the car more or less as a 2+2 seater or a 4-door coupé, as you like. Those who look for more space in the rear, have a look at the new XF. Beside being larger, the cars are very similar.
What really surprised me though was, the XES is 5000,- EUR more than an equally equipped 340. I thought they wanted to be competitive?
Still have a few days to make a decission, latest next week.
Beltempo
P.S. The dealer also has Maserati's. The Ghibli is a really beauty, but too extroverted for me as a company car.

Some good places for MB lease and various other finance options. No relationship with any of them, just part of a search for my next reliable form of transport. The E63 has been great. I nearly went CLS63 but the price was just to high and MB was offering a nuts lease on the E at the time. I would have another if the same lease was still available. http://www.carmyke.co.uk/business-lease-cars/mercedes-benz/cla-class-estatehttp://www.allvehiclecontracts.co.uk/Quo...ic_7G-DCT_Auto/ Currently MB have an offer of £12k on the deposit for the CLS63 ! wait for the devaluation.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Right.
I've just tested the XE - I really liked it, however it is just too wide to fit in my parking space, so much tho' I like the car, it ain't going to happen.
I shall place an order on Monday on a fully loaded Mercedes A class 220D 4Matic (which we tested on Monday). The fleet sales guys of M-B France are good customers of mine, so I'm happy to give them my business.
