Those speed bumps in Exminster are probably the worst I've ever seen..................

They are starting to feel very good and was able to do a very quick pull up from high speed in what I thought as a short distance and no sign of locking up. Then back home with the wind getting up and leaves blowing around in the air. Bit of a boring last 10 miles home due to a Ford Ka doing 35 mph all the way with a queue of cars behind.

Did you get to see the "All new Series 2 Morgan Roadster" at Berrybrooks?

Sadly spent the day near the toilet....tummy upset from the weekend. Annoying as I was meant to do an after dinner talk about Morgan tonight, which I had to cancel. It'll teach me to eat food oop north....probably the tripe was off.

That's nothing. I've been sidelined for two days with another dose of Man flu. It's not doing my 100 day cough much good.

Travelling by train in winter is risky due to the number of wet sneezes. Some people have no manners.
But plenty of germs.

The weather continues excellent here; around 20º and sunshine. Did a run up the valley to Sondrio, about 85km away, with swmbojnr.

Naturally I took as many back roads as I could with plenty of acceleration out of the bends just so that I could hear the exhaust note and the sound of the throttle bodies.

Round trip of nearly 200 km by the end of the day sunny drive

You need to approach Berrybrook from the south end of the village, as this avoids all of the speed humps.

Good gossip with Adrian over coffee and cookies. He arrived hood down, but with that slightly smug look of those with heated seats. wink
His 3.7 Roadster sounded glorious when leaving my house.

Light bit of rain on the way home tonight - it's been cloudy but warm for November.

Building up some interesting road wash patterns on the wings.

Had some odd looks this week from other convertibles with their tops up - indeed it seems I am the only idiot in the local area still driving topless on my commute back and forth.

(wife has thrown her hardtop on her car and my other roadster has transmission problems - so I am using the Mog instead as The Audi is dull!)

Short drive to and from MOT retest.
Original fail due to play in lowest steering column UJ. Also O/S headlamp high. shades
The MOT chap tried to tighten the pinch bolts but said he couldn't so I cleaned the area and did it myself at home, play was minimal but glad he found it, then down today for retest. Passed ok so did a "long route" return home.
I missed the fault when doing my checks pre MOT.... swear

Wet heavy showers on the way to work - but you do stay remarkably dry with the top down at speed, crisp chilly drive home this evening - I even donned my woolly hat tonight!

I drove my dad's Morgan today. Brisk 55 degrees this morning, but I thought I would get the NC DMV license and theft inspection out of the way so we can get the title completed. Got to the DMV office and the inspector happened to be the same person that inspect a 1917 Model T firetruck we bought in August. I had to wear my sweater, but well worth it. Such a joy to drive.
