Due to popular demand and riding on the wave of recent success (and enjoyment, mostly schoolboy humour about beavers) of the Haynes visit, we are planning a run to Gaydon on the 21st Nov. They close from end of Nov until Feb so lets get in while we can..
So far the possibles/probables are:
sospan AJSKi2fly Jays RoadsterBoy Hamwich Wirewheel 4/4sportsfun DaveW Roger-Cheshire Spanner Juggler SteveT
anyone else? all welcome including SWMBO's
I'll contact them for group discount if poss.. Sorry Steve, family clash means I can't make it now, as it's a gathering to welcome a new grandson (our first boy in the family for years) there is no way I can make Gaydon, have a great day chaps.

No apologies Colin, some things (including new grandsons) come even before Morganeering.. Enjoy your day! We'll probably do some more runs and hope to meet you then.

British Motor Museum in Gaydon National Motor Museum in Beaulieu. Complementary or Competitive?

More to do at Beaulieu. Very early cars on display. In a nicer area. But more kids in season and more of a funfare ambience.
Gaydon has later cars, and many prototypes. Gaydon is more cerebral. Kids would soon get bored at Gaydon.
So complementary.
Actually Beaulieu has a feel of the NRM at York.
