I had to take my 4/4 to the dealer today to have a new speedo fitted .Light rain on the way there hood down .Heavy rain for the return journey .So the hood was put up for the first time since March and I had a great drive in the rain with no leaks.

Just back from a 2300 mile trip from spring like 15 degree temp to winter 3 degrees !!!
York to Lenno Lake Como to sort out daughters wedding next year...took the all black 4/4..decided to take Morgan at last minute and glad I did ...great car for long solo tour...44 mpg and cruised at 80 mph on long boring bits.
Did not see one Morgan on trip...lots of interest and happy waves from all including Police in all countries I passed through (even Swiss Police smiled !!!)
V cold in York now...wished I'd stayed longer at Bellagio !!! What a great trip and I hope all's well with next years plan, what a brilliant photogenic place for a wedding.

An enjoyable drive in the sunshine to Berrybrook. (Hood down, no sidescreens, half tonneau cover) It clouded over for the return, but still terrific. Only about 30 miles in all, but good for the soul.  Very nice pale blue Plus 4 in their showroom. Just as well it had a very light interior, or I could have been tempted. - Hang on, what am I saying? Stanley was going like a dream, why would I want to change?

Yorkshire coast today ...tonneau on no side screens..fish and chips
at sea front...happy day !!!!!
What with this and Como trip car will be worn out soon !!!

Took SBM out in the Mog and he was chuffed at its four wheels and hood !
Geneva 2016 plus 8' The Green Godess' 4 side exits .

Yes, thanks for lunch my four wheels friend & great to have a short trip around the block in your wee beastie.
Driving home in the failing light, with mucky roads and cold to boot, is 'character building' as my nan would have said. Still good to be in a Morgan, though. Even better with a heater though..
