I've had the same problem with the crimp type fittings , now replaced . Would like to think all dealers have been notified of this , but probably unlikely !

My passenger screen was damaged by the fuel too , there was an earlier thread on this topic .

Not sure if the dealers are all aware of this problem but they certainly are at the factory. The crimped on clips were all replaced with proper reusable fuel hose clips on my car when it went back to Malvern for some unrelated work, without me asking. I sometimes wonder if the dealers are as well informed as the average TM reader, even on safety related issues like this.

Thanks for all your posts, I feel relieved I am not the only one experiencing this issue, I will check the fuel hoses again.

Getting ready for some winter maintenance. What size are the clamps/hose?

Just to help I bought 11MM - 13MM or 7/16" - 1/2" clamps.
