I like the Willow Green metalic colour but I'm not sure about the combination with Cuba leather.

I like the leather but the dashboard colour does not match the steering wheel.
Looks cheap to me like a reuse of a packaging crate.

I think the target market is the middle east where off road posing is popular. A convertible 4 x 4 from JLR would make the perfect combination of off road competence - last one to the top of the dune buys the drinks - and ability to show off.

I quite like the colours but, as mentioned I do think the steering wheel and dash should be in matching wood.

As for the "Least we forget", I think that a bit tacky and the same goes for the "badge" (label?) on the dash. Something like that would be better under the bonnet.

Hard to imagine that they would have done this without some agreement with the Royal British Legion. Let's put it this way: the motivation is good but perhaps the execution of the idea leaves a little to be desired.

I quite like the colour combos.

But the LWF embossing a tad OTT ...for me.

I'm afraid I am not keen on the colour scheme (though in some colours I do like seeing the wheels match the bodywork) and it doesn't strike me as particularly 'military' or indeed anything to do with The RBL.

The colour of the seats clash rather than compliment, and the colour of the carpet.....what can I say?

And why two cars?

IMHO if they were going to do something to mark the end of WW2 then perhaps they should have thought about having a minimum of 3 cars, one each in Navy, Army and RAF colours (though no doubt the Merchant Navy, the SOE and the many other organisations that contributed so much might feel slighted at not being included).

Of course, anything that supports the work of The RBL has to be a good thing - again IMHO - though it is not clear whether the donation will be a token gesture or something more substantial, like the whole of the profit from the sale of the cars.

The idea might have had merit if it had been thought through (and perhaps with some advice from someone with military experience) but for me it appears to have been poorly executed and seems at first glance to be a little opportunistic.

Shame.....

When I was selling cars, 30 years ago, the trend was put a n/s door mirror on it, a radio, some cheap stripes and give it a foreign sounding name. Charge the punter a premium and move it on. They were tacky in those days on a metro or a maestro.

I agree with your description of the dash in the context of this very car. A good example how much good taste could help for the right choice of combinations.
The same dash in natural ash was ...for me.... very cool when used in the P4SS in RAF blue with black metal steering wheel, a car which was at the same time in the best sense a more subtle military "reminding" car due to her colour.

It's interesting reading your comments. I've watched the car go through build and whilst in trim a number of people on my tours have expressed their liking of the colour scheme. Perhaps it translates better in the flesh.
Personally I don't like the carpet colour but like the leather and paint combination....and a big plus in my eyes....it's a Narrow Bodied Plus4!

It's brave of Oakmere to commission these two cars and good for them!
