I had a real problem relocating one side on Mr Bumble. Very frustrating.

Thanks Dave, might look into having them fitted during a service, don't want to be stuck on the drive with a stubborn unit to relocate!!

Yes, yes, and yes! Lots of people have fitted them, they make a very noticeable improvement, and they are dead easy to fit. Absolutely: they made a noticeable difference to Aldermog the Roadster. and I don't understand why MMC doesn't fit them as standard to the +4 and the Roadster. Of course the Plus 8 deals with brake reaction using modern wishbones and big forged fittings!

Can anyone with access, or who hasn't fitted their bars yet, please measure them, they look simple enough to make up at home.

Will try at the weekend Paul if I get a chance... Some info here but basically a pipe flattened in a vice...Would be easy enough to make up.

The Mulfab bars have a washer welded on the top hole to add strength. It's a large hole relative to the tube size.

I also understood the bolt to the chassis is designed to fail in a crash to ensure the crumple zone. For £40 I would buy them.
