Just back from a 2 hour drive home after the Centenary Gala Dinner.
My thanks and congratulations to MMC on a spectacular event. Nice videos, good tributes and speeches, interesting guests (Lord Montague, Richard Hammond, Chris Lawrence etc), a great location and decor (four real trads hangng from the ceiling with headlights shining down on the dance floor), good band and Perry McCarthy giving an amusing after dinner talk.
I must admit it far exceeded expectations and was great fun, for all the reasons above but mainly for the people that were there
