Welcome to the forum
As a few have said, the clock and the immobiliser with its flashing red light drain the battery on mine
As soon as the temperatures drop and I don't use the Morgan every few days in the Winter I put the battery on a trickle charge otherwise it won't start through a combination of ambient temperature and battery drain

I connect mine up to the CTEK as soon as I put it in the garage, with the exception of prime summer driving weather just in case I don't get to drive it for a while.

Good Morning all! Many thanks for the welcomes! Apologies for the late reply...I have been enjoying the festivities....It seems that a bootle or two of Taylors LBV can have an effect on what day you wake up!! I hope you've all had a lovely xmas and enjoy the NYE celebrations.

Many thanks for the messages of welcome and advice. I'm just about to send off my membership application for the MSCC. I deliberately decided to keep the car off the road this winter as there are a number of jobs that need doing ready for spring. Whilst the car is currently connected up to a trickle charge I will definitely be taking Roger from Cheshire's advice and will get the car over to Kevin Vernon or someone similar for a comprehensive electrics check.
