Need to double check, but I'm sure the redline on my '93 Zetec is well below 7000 Bill.

In the handbook of my 2002 model with Zetec engine the max rev is mentioned at 6500 RPM.

Ive found that for 'spirited' driving you need to be up between 4500 - 6500 and work the box.... Can be quite a nippy little car then!

I think I could say the same about mine. evil drive However I have never had it up to 6500 in top gear, in third certainly, but in fourth I was too busy watching the road and keeping an eye open for cop to look at the tacho hide
