Therefore it follows at some point, regarding the NVH specifically, an issue has occurred requiring extra bracing between the gearbox and bevel box.

My simple brain says , within reason, anything increasing the chassis integrity is a no brainer ( as per the front end brace ) - lets fit it.

Well we all know they are a bit resistant to change, so if they went to the trouble to create this, my thinking is that it is needed.....

To my understanding NVH has nothing to do with chassis bracing between gearbox and bevelbox but isolates the bevelbox from chassis for noise and vibration reduction. Does it work...? not sure. It brings an issue of flex between bevelbox and rear sprocket that the belt has to work with.

I am not sure I get your meaning here?

The NVH is a slab of metal which the bevel box is attached, the NVH is attached to the frame with bobbins meant to isolate the vibrations and quiet it down. Since the NVH can move freely from the frame (albeit a very limited amount) this will cause the belt between the bevel box and rear sprocket to have varying tension as the bevel box moves.

OK I have the picture now... I guess it would be the same with a rubber mounted Harley engine... although I don't know if their transmissions are rubber mounted.

The new frame in my 2013 rig has the whole NVH thing in it. It makes bevel box oil changes more difficult because of the bracing in the area of the drain plug. The dealer who did the work thought my original bevel box felt rough when turned by hand and replaced it with a unit he felt was better.
I have to admit that with the NHV mod, the different bevel box and a Super Max pulley running a looser drive belt, things are much quieter. Unfortunately, all those things happened at the same time so I cannot testify to the overall effectiveness of any one single change.
This took place at 7,800 miles and I am now at 14,200 miles with no complaints.
Let me end this with a positive endorsement fo the Fair Bourne Carriage wind screen as a worthwhile mod. It cuts cockpit turbulence and you look through the windscreen with both eyes rather than looking through it with one eye and over it with the other as I do with the stock set up.

Now all I can picture is Sloth from the Goonies driving a M3W...

If you are short, you can look through the stock screen, if you are tall, you can look over the stock screen. At 5'10", I am in the middle, one eye over, one eye under, hey diddle, diddle, my son John. I think that was part of a nursery rhythm. You have to excuse me as it's raining cats and dogs here in Arizone and there is no Morganing today!!

Roland that screen is going to be one of my first upgrades.

I'm very, very happy with the FC windscreen. I can wear a hat without fear of it flying off. Beware when removing the old screens, to loosen the old silicone both sides with a careful use of a long razor blade. The silicone is very sticky and might lift the paint when removing the old screens.
