No wonder Nick Mason has so many cars and all he did was bash the drums !!! Apologies to any drummers out there.
No offence lowebird, we drummers are used to getting a lot of jokes made about us. Apart from the early albums all Nick had to do was play a nice laid back 4/4 time (pardon the pun), do the same simple but effective fills on every track and sit back and enjoy the riches. Definitely the right man for the job but I bet he rarely got into a sweat. Does anyone know if he owns a Morgan? Here's a list of some of my favourite drummers. 1. John Bonham (Zep) 2. Mitch Mitchell (Hendrix) 3. Stuart Copeland (Police, Curved Air) 4. Keith Moon (The Who) 5. Bobby Elliott (The Hollies)

Yet another great group, I also have all their LP's, I really think I missed the boat here, I should have made it a Top 10 at least, perhaps even a Top 20. A small point for those that didn't "get" Dark side of the Moon, it stayed on the American Billboard Top 200 LP's for, wait for it, 14 YEARS !!! No wonder Nick Mason has so many cars and all he did was bash the drums !!! Apologies to any drummers out there. For some reason I wasn't impressed with 'Dark Side of the Moon' when it was released, I think I was more into New Wave at that time although I loved Yes and The Moody Blues but now later in life It has really grown on me I got a dub reggae version of the album called 'Dub Side of the Moon' It sounds like it would be awful but it is absolutely brilliant I recommend it to everyone

John Bonham (and his son for some reasons, it's somehow like John's reincarnation regarding timing and slam, listen to some Bonamassa Black country communion takes with Jason) Billy Cobham Steve Gadd Brian Blade Peter Erskine sorry for hijacking the vinyl approach of this thread, but I couldn't withstand to reply on this.

Talking of drummers
20 odd years ago when I was a student in High Wycombe, we used to walk up to the White Swan pub in West Wycombe for a Friday night drink with friends
One night we got talking to a regular old boy in his 80's who used to be the drummer for the Duke Ellington band when it toured the UK
As we were listening to all his tales, in walks Stuart Copeland!
It was a bizarre but great night
Also not on a drummer note but on a Morgan and musician subject, we also used to drive out to a pub in Turville near Marlow ( where they filmed Chitty Chitty Bang bang) on a Sunday afternoons drinking session and Joe Brown was a regular and often on a nice day he drove out to the pub in his Morgan with the family - it was a 4 seater

So now we know what triggered your need for a 4 seater Morgan?
