Vince you will become accustomed to realising that every Morgan is different even if they look the same! You will also come accustomed to the phrase "it's a Morgan Sir, they're all do that!"!

Roger last night I was talking to my wife and I was laughing about some of the posts I read. Most of my life I have been involved with the design and manufacturing of convertible cars. If there was a squeak or any tiny rattle out of a roof or anywhere on the car, there was so much effort and money injected to eliminate the issue. What I am now seeing is, the more it rattles and bangs and bolts fall off the better it is !!!  Great bunch.

Roger last night I was talking to my wife and I was laughing about some of the posts I read. Most of my life I have been involved with the design and manufacturing of convertible cars. If there was a squeak or any tiny rattle out of a roof or anywhere on the car, there was so much effort and money injected to eliminate the issue. What I am now seeing is, the more it rattles and bangs and bolts fall off the better it is !!! Great bunch. Many of us don't have radios Vince, apart from the fact that above 60mph you'd never hear it anyway, there are good rattles and squeeks and bad rattles and squeeks. The good ones are the car talking to you and telling you everything is well and for some owners becomes a challenge with their best friend, Neo Prene, to solve what you've done poroably with much larger budgets!  Owning a Morgan is a totally new education where most of what we've all learnt is thrown out of the window - but it's fun, beacuse it's a Morgan!

It's only because his Morgan is in England & they are in Dubai. If they were in England Vince would be in the garage and his  in the house. End of talking!

Roger you are correct, but I seriously miss being at home in my garage. Later this year it will be again "Happy days" . I can see it now, stinking of grease, treading oil across the front room carpet, oily hand marks on the door handles and light switches, and listening to my gorgeous wife screaming at me   Glad the wife does not have a log in for this site ha ha
