Last Thursday morning I got a call from John in Ashland, Oregon. "Lets go on the Oyster Run?" OK! 2000 miles to a Oyster Bar Near Bodega Bay, Calif. for lunch. Just got back to Seattle last night. What a hoot. BTW: Used the Suplex Kit but with no shocks. Just have not been able to fit shocks with My +8 Bitsa using the lowered settings of Suplex. Shock is too long.
Button Seattle Sounds like a gorgeous trip! BTW how is the weather over there right now? I'm planning a summer holiday in the area when the solar eclipse will happen in 2017.

On the way South it was cold - too cold for Me - until I got to Southern Oregon when it warmed up a lot. On the Way North from Ashland, Ore. (15 miles from the California border) it was raining quite hard all the 450 miles to Seattle. I felt I was in a submarine with all the 18 wheel trucks splashing a wall of water when I passed them or they passed Me. Lots of stress on this leg. Other than that just light showers and overcast. We did visit Middletown, Calif. That is where a huge forest fire burned a lot of homes and timber. The town was saved but it was horrible all around for many square miles.

Just a few miles down the road for a doctor's appt. Thought a drive in the Plus 8 would just the thing but I guess it doesn't slow the heart beat or reduce the blood pressure. Just the opposite.
Cheers,
Mark

Cheers, I always consider my trips out in the Plus8 as my aerobic exercise for the very same reasons.

Have I driven my Morgan…well sort of! Out from the garage to wash off the mud and grime from the Bicester jaunt. Then back again. The Highways authority were out gritting the main roads yesterday and on Thursday. Did Wiltshire Council follow up on the lesser roads? Don’t be silly, it costs too much. So until the temperature returns to normal a clean and bright Tarka is sitting in the garage, connected to the Optimate battery conditioner. Each time I open the door to the garage it is like looking at a puppy that doesn’t understand why it can’t go out and play!
