So there seems to be an ominous portent to approaching the exalted age of 69. Those of us who have passed it can breath a sigh of relief.
I will miss Alan. He certainly added classiness to villainy.

Sixty-Nine, or Swassont-nuff is just a number.
Avoid at all costs falling into the trap of being ruled by age numbers.
My mother announced in December that she hadn't felt the same since she turned 89, and couldn't do as much as when she was 88.
Her birthday was the previous week.
