I remember when United Dairies used a 1 horsepower unit, the only silencer was a nosebag...

I would willingly spray my Morgan green to get an hours flight in a spitfire.

Couldn't see how much that one was, but shuttleworth collection offer spitfire flights, three grand a pop. Ouch, only trouble is I'm heavier than the limit of 105 kg seven if I could afford it,

The Boultbee Flying Academy at Goodwood do a range of Spitfire flights starting at £2,700 for 30 minutes over the channel. They have two 2-seater Spitfires so for a mere 12 grand you and a (similarly wealthy) friend can have a dog fight with an ME109! www.boultbeeflightacademy.co.uk/ ~iw
