Out visiting today. Decided to go in the Mog and make an extended day of it. Hood down to enjoy the fresh air.
Took both dogs along and also went to Port Eynon beach for them to have a run. Back to Verdis in Mumbles for a luxury hot chocolate and a yummy cake....you need a spoon to finish the choccy drink off as it thickens up....
Cloudless sky but chilly east wind.
Roads were dry but some frozen puddles .
Alfie (Springer) found a John Dory washed up and tried to eat it...caught him before he did!
Roadworks in Mumbles area causing traffic build up, don't envy rush hour travellers!!!

Same as us Phill blue sky chilly wind but cut short as Casper decided to roll in some fox poo,so we had quite a heady mix of heat and a dollop of Basil on the way home.Sure glad we had the roof off.

Not today, despite sunshine and a trip to Berrybrook. Ridiculous amount of salt spread by local authorities last night. Forecast for tonight and tomorrow is rain. So that's money well spent then!

I could not resist. The sun had just struggled from behind the clouds and I thought if I didn't do it now I will regret it. So popped out for a short 20 mile loop of the roads around Goring. Great.

It's pouring with rain at Liverpool. But it's true what they say about the ladies here. A significant number are lovely. I'm sitting in a coffee shop at Lime Street watching the world go by.

Today: -7 Celsius but bright sunshine. I drove to a friend's garage to get the Librands sports exhaust installed. It took us less than 2 hours to get the complete job done. We had to drill and weld a second port for the post cat lamda as the Librands had just one connector pre cat while my 4/4 2011 has 2 lamda sensors. Everything else was perfect but it is not a DIY job for a single person - at least not for me.
Driving home with the new exhaust was even more fun than to drive to the garage!

The Sterkowski pilot cap is perfect for temperatures below freezing point.
Now I can recommend both the Librands and the Sterkowski...

drive

Librands provided me with a brass "cartridge" to fit the unused sensor into on my 4/4. It seemed a bit strange to me but the car ran fine....until MOT time!
