Isn't the large capital "M" just the logo on the "Matchless" engines? i.e. M for Matchless

The JAP covers are a rather silly mod anyway, you are certainly better off without them.

Ok, Matchless covers then???

Why would anyone want to put covers on their anything that blatantly label it as something it is not?

If you want engine covers with letters on them, they should say S&S...

If that is the case, can I interest you in this slightly used Ferrari?!

Just come back this afternoon from Krazy Horse, my local Morgan dealer who arranged manufacture of the sand cast JAP kit which includes rocker covers, inspection caps with JAP logo and timing/belt cover.

As reported previously although they have a few kits fitted to their own cars they are still awaiting approval from interested parties including MMC, before they go on sale to the public, with the possibility of becoming a build option. Strange then that I saw a kit fitted to a members private 2013 car at a recent local branch meet of the Morgan three wheeler club.

Despite personal dissapproval of the JAP logo on an S&S engine it does make a huge visual improvement by getting rid of many of the awful chrome finished covers - ducks for incoming innocent

My feelings exactly here, why badge something to a sort of thing that it is not? Would have been much nicer with an S on each cylinder, M3W, Morgan script, or etc on the engine compared to putting something else which is is not.

Also, I am sure you could go down to a local CNC shop and have just about anything put on these covers yourself.
