110 miles today in the black 4/4 to get some fresh fish from Filey on the Yorkshire coast...first long run with new brake reaction bars fitted. Definitely a great value for money mod..stiffens up the front end no end.Almost a point and squirt car now.
Sadly not able to fit panhard rod due to fuel tank fitment on later models without major re engineering which I won't do as car is still under warranty.
So after remap, cold air induction, sports silencer = 131 bhp +118ft/lbs that is enough for the moment.
Short/medium term: grippier tyres
Medium/long term: start saving for inevitable (?) alloy radiator !!!
Keep the Faith !!!!

Couple of short journeys today. Golf this morning. The 2 mile drive was better than my golf! Took Monty for a hairdo this afternoon.....he is a cocker spaniel and in dire need of a clipping.

The two month Morgan-free penance is over. Back from Australia a week now and yesterday work and the weather finally allowed us out. I'd had the battery charger on for a day and she started immediately. Just a trip to the hardware store and then a run through the hills and woods for about 40 minutes for no reason other than to drive.
This morning is clear and sunny in Vienna. Guess what?

Very wet and windy here....I should be in the garage fitting the steering damper really but a cold damp garage is not tempting me!

No chance! Taint a fit day out for man nor beast..
Winds howling, rain lashing outside so just chucked another log on the fire, dogs asleep on the rug, dinner in the oven courtesy of my good lady and almost time for a little single malt... Mustn't grumble!

I agree Steve. Both wood burners going, jacket potatoes cooking in the embers of one of them like good old Bonnie 'tatoes, casserole in the oven and the wine open. Closest substitute for a blat in theMog I know.

You guys are making me jealous! I'd love the prospect of an evening of single malts in front of the log burner, but I have to go out to a general knowledge quiz in the community hall. Not bad in itself, but I can't drink as Jane is staying at home nursing a poorly goat, and so I'll have to drive. On the up side, our team usually wins so there's a prospect of a decent bottle of wine as a prize
