I know exactly what you mean Peter, I still have a big healey on my list and this one is for sale.. Only problem is I would have to sell my Morgan to do it.. Not so easy!

That is lovely. My brother's friend had a 3.0 Mk3 when he was about 21 back in the late 70's. He then had to sell it due to work and with a lot of difficulty sold it for about £900 - it was immaculate. How things change...

Drove through the howling gale this morning from home to Williams. Arrived to find that they and about 2000 others in the area had no electricity....

Anyway car dropped off and on its way up to MMC to have the Aeroman Roll Bar fitted.

I'm now carless, travelling & mostly away from home, until early March...so there should be enough time for the factory and Williams to get everything sorted!

I must say, a month without the car isn't my idea of fun!

Not today.......winds too strong, trees down, detours etc.
Cleddau bridge in Pembs recorded 95 mph gusts!
Pembrey about 3 miles from me recorded 80+ mph.
Walked the dogs near home but even they were glad to get home.

My first run of 2016! January was unusually cold in Washington this year and then we got 2 feet of snow. Today the temperature reached 50 degrees F. and more snow is forecast for tonight, so we couldn't miss this window of opportunity. Once the TR engine was warmed up the Morgan drove beautifully through Virginia countryside-- 30 miles with only one stop light. The car wanted to go much farther, but I left the top at home and the temperature was dropping as the clouds came in...

Not yesterday....the cars up on stands whilst I fit the steering damper. Hopefully it'll be out today to try out the mod!

Yes!

My son and I had a very enjoyable run around South Warks.

It was very sunny ...but chilly.

A good short run out.

Yes, a drive to White Waltham to spend a very enjoyable & interesting afternoon with other SwanMog members going round the Hewland Transmissions site.

The staff were very welcoming, friendly , knowledgeable & happy to answer all our questions. Thank you to all.

(Having gone in sunshine by way of a change it was raining on the way home!)

Nice 100 mile round trip to Krazy Horse to get the main beam light issue rectified. New circuit board, nice coffee and burger in the canteen and it was all fixed.
Can never resist a browse at their extensive stock of cars and bikes. Good day out!

Krazy Horse sounds good.

Plus the bikes!

It's a long way for me ...but must visit sometime.
