Worth a trip for sure. As well as Morgan they stock the new Norton Indian and other custom bikes.

150 mile round trip to Allon White for the annual service. I had arranged to borrow one of their courtesy cars and took the opportunity to head down to Hendon to the RAF Museum - well worth a visit and it only costs £4 for all day parking plus a voluntary donation to the museum.
When I got back to Cranfield, Phil was doing some final preparation on a 1998 4.6 +8 that is being collected tomorrow. It looked fabulous - luck new owner. The great shame is that it only has 8000 miles on it in 18 years - I wonder what went wrong for the last owner. By comparison, our car has done 8150 ish miles in 2 years - not a great deal in comparison to some on here.

Lovely drive out this morning to go and get my cracked windscreen swapped over, cold but bright sunshine for a change. Some nice grins & waves, especially from some ladies in tin tops. Wished I could have been pootling for longer but work beckoned...

And the new owner, who used to have a 4.6 but changed to a +4 a year or so ago will be collecting it. He is on here (occasionally)... Misses the V8 grunt (and sound I'll wager!).

A quick buzz down a local dual carriageway to see if my steering damper has done the trick. It does what it says on the tin....damps. Makes the car nicer to drive unless I'm up above 85-90.......the underlying fault is still there....which bugs me.

Now what about that nice 4/4 80th anniversary model...

maybe nothing more 'wrong' than suffering the misfortune to own a large collection of other desirable cars... i have the utmost respect for Morgan owners who do large mileages and use them as primary (if not only) vehicles, but there are folk who derive as much pleasure simply from owning beautiful things.
