One way to reduce droughts and wind blown water is to buy some D shape neoprene with sticky backing and fix it to the inside edge of the side screens so it meets the bottom edge of the leather door capping. Then with some square section neoprene and some of the D shape make a block for each side to fix to the edge of the scuttle panel so when the door closes the side screen butts up against it. This works very well. I can take some pics if you would like.

Look at seals direct.com, the struff I'm talking about will cost about £10

cheers

Interesting question Vladimir
I was also going to mention the extra sound proofing in the ARP4 but agree with Steve, with the 4 seater it's going to make the hood very, very bulky

I find on the very few occasions when I have my 4 seater hood up ( I try not to make a habit of it) it's cosy but much louder from road noise and engine noise in the cabin

Get a sub woofer in the passenger footwell and play some music LOUD - I find a bit Gangster Rap helps to make road and engine disappear ooo

Vladimir,
My "Aero" Plus 8 has a lined hood, it looks nicer with the hood up, but it makes little or no difference to the noise level.

The car is quieter with the hood down.

Thanks Peter.
Did "dynamating" your previous mog have any positive impact at all?

Cheers

Yes it did, reduced both noise and heat in the footwells. The noise was quite remarkable, it made conversation at 60 mph easy.

But Tarka is quieter, and cooler, without any Dynamat!!!!
Even so I might do the floor & bulkhead.
