The job starts on Wednesday Raphael. It was put back a few days to co-ordinate with a meeting to discuss the new dashboard.

As you say Peter there is great variations in the chassis dimensions i am wondering if i fit the new springs then make a set of axle centering blocks to suit , they need not be the same each side but i would be able to properly true the axle in the frame . Does anyone have a picture of the Mulberry versions ?

You won't need them Dave because you have a cable operating the handbrake across the rear axle and the new springs would move the axle back far enough. Plus you need to be careful about lowering the rear of the car. Bump travel is already limited on a Morgan and the new springs do ride a little lower already.

A Panhard rod could be a good idea however. It will make sure that the axle does not move to one side in hard cornering.
